About the Plaček group
Plaček Group is a family-owned pet care company that started operations in 1986. It was founded by Dušan Plaček with a clear vision – to create a strong and respected company built on love for animals, expertise and long-term relationships.
Today we are an innovative leader in the industry. We lead the way in modern retail, e‐commerce, loyalty programmes, expert advice, employee education and veterinary services, as well as accompanying services such as dog salons and community events for customers.
Our goal is not just to sell products, but to create a comprehensive service ecosystem that delivers real value to pet owners
The group’s story had an unusual beginning – with the sale of tropical fish and plants at the regular markets in Prague’s Holešovice district and Kolín in 1986. It was here that the first experience was gained, and contacts and entrepreneurial courage created, later leading to the birth of the Super zoo brand.
A start-up with 3 people gradually grew into a stable and professionally managed company. The construction of the first warehouse and offices laid the foundation for today’s modern logistics complex on the outskirts of Poděbrady, which is the heart of the entire group.
The passion became a vision. The vision became a strong international company.

Velkoobchodní kanál Plaček Pet Products distribuuje produkty pro domácí mazlíčky více než 1 000 zákazníkům – od maloobchodních prodejen a specializovaných obchodů se zvířaty přes veterinární ordinace až po e-shopy v Čechách i na Slovensku.

Wholesale
The Plaček Group is dynamically developing its international activities and has long sought strategic partners for foreign markets.
We offer exclusive distribution of our strong private label brands, such as Elbeville, Ontario, Prospera Plus, Rasco Premium, Repti Planet, Nature Land and others.
We are looking for retail partners interested in developing the Super zoo concept in their home markets.
Exports
Super zoo and Dino Zoo brand stores sell selected pets – from small mammals and birds to terrarium species. We provide our customers with a complete pet care solution in one place.
